If you have been to a personal training-type gym before, you know that you don’t pay to rent machines, you pay for a coach to turn you into one! Understandably, one costs more than the other. Here is what you get at Chrysalis over and above the typical fitness facility experience:

Our value is in our coaching, and if you have never been coached before, we would like to give you the opportunity to come by and see what it’s all about.
Here’s our intake process...take as many of the steps as you need:
Step 1: Declare an interest. Get in touch with us to let us know what you what you're interested in knowing more about or trying out.
Step 2: Come watch a workout. Make an appointment to come by and watch a workout in action! See what training at Chrysalis looks like, and watch our coaches work. This is not a place where coaching is the same as instructing or directing, and the quality of our coaching is evident in the progression and health of our membership, of which we are extremely proud.
Step 3: Do the Free Intro Workout. If intensity-focused personal training looks like something you would like to try, we have a basic bodyweight workout that we introduce to new folks, just to give you a little taste of the intensity that Chrysalis is known for. We offer a free class is every Saturday at 12 noon - contact us to reserve a spot, as spaces are limited.
Your safety is our number one concern, period. We promised we won’t do is put you in a situation where you are using equipment and performing movements your are unfamiliar with.
Step 4: Register for Burn In. ‘Burn In’ is our intro program. This 6-week program is required before integrating into our regular group classes. We do this for your safety and information, and to preserve the integrity of our classes for our members. If our Burn In class times don’t work for you, you can choose the intro program Personal Training option, ‘Fundamentals’. We're happy to discuss what would be best for you before registering.
Step 5: Become a member. With options from a class frequency of 1X per week to Unlimited, and 6 or 12-month contracts, you are free to choose what will work for you. If you do shift work or work out of town, we also have 10-class and 5-class drop in packages that you can purchase and use whenever you like. We recommend that you start with a relatively low frequency and work your way up to a higher frequency only as you feel ready to do so, and we will never pressure you to ramp up your attendance prematurely.
